This Is As Good As It Gets!

The Roaring Fork River is my favorite river to fish. This incredibly scenic river begins in the high mountains above Aspen, Colorado and can be fished on foot or from a boat.

The Roaring Fork River boasts the highest population of fish per mile in the state and experienced anglers can expect to catch many fish.

In my opinion, this river is best fished from a boat.

Brown Trout on the Roaring Fork River

Hopper fishing on the Roaring Fork River is at its best in the late summer months August and September.

This short video takes a great look at a big brown that ate a hopper.
